I just started the game and changed some settings but after putting it fullscreen it was hard for me to access other programs (except for using alt tab), my mouse wasn't able to get off screen

Putting the game at your screen size's resolution makes it behave as if in borderless windowed. I do like the idea of a dedicated option though.

The windowed mode doesn't work very well with multiple screens though. You can see a border at the edge of the screen and for me, the windows taskbar showed when I had a youtube video open in fullscreen on my second screen.

Agreeing with other comment, this does not work. I have the taskbar at the left side and the game window is not respecting it correctly. The game is monitor sized but being offset by the lefthand taskbar, so it spans quite a bit into the second monitor (placed on the right).
