Basically I came up with the Idea to have these structures due to my own design of an "all in one resource container". After a stupidly long brainstorm in finding a way to sort all my items to one container that sits next to my equipment and crafting tables. the space required for this system is quite large and resource demanding. SO I thought... maybe I can put in a suggestion to see if this could be implemented.

So this is what I came up with:

A Late game construction, the same tier where super computers come into play together with Caterium. A Long horizontal Merger/splitter with multiple inputs and outputs (and stackable like the actual splitters and mergers). This would decrease the immense bus buffer I have to make to sort or distribute my resources, my equipment or make complicated splitter designs.

Think of it as if it was the same size as 5 splitters in a row with no space in between, but inside they are connected to the same belt. Something that is not possible with mergers and splitters currently because we can't connect belts to them from the outside. For Someone who tries to keep all the complex workings hidden behind walls and out of plain sight this would be very pleasing to the eye and easily upgradable or maintained if needed. Here should be the image linked from imgur

Nice idea, well thought through, but...

August 28th update: We've removed downvotes! One major reason is because we don't want to discourage folks from posting legitimate suggestions / reports / questions with fear of being mass downvoted (which has been happening a LOT). So we now allow you to upvote what you like, or ignore what you don't. Points have also been adjusted to account for this change.
