When placing conveyor lifts it always assumes the start side is an input, but sometimes it would be preferable for the place you start at to be an output instead and the only workaround I have now is to place a conveyor or other lift before the time to snap the new lift in place to change the flow direction.

It's the same for conveyors...
From 'here' to 'here'.

Yes, please. 1000x this. Placing lifts is really irritating when you aren't trying to build them in sequence.

There are way too many times to count where I've needed to get creative by making a random floating conveyor belt just so I can build off of that to get the flow of the lift moving in the correct direction.

August 28th update: We've removed downvotes! One major reason is because we don't want to discourage folks from posting legitimate suggestions / reports / questions with fear of being mass downvoted (which has been happening a LOT). So we now allow you to upvote what you like, or ignore what you don't. Points have also been adjusted to account for this change.
Please use the search function before posting a new question and upvote existing ones to bring more attention to them, It will help us a lot. <3
