It seems like it has been abandoned for a few months now. Is there any new work being done?

This is not a AAA title game with a huge team pumping out money making DLC every 2 days.

These guys are a small close knit team that work til their butts off to get out updates and such at a rate they can afford to manage.

You can see their progress and update videos on youtube @ coffeestainstudios

Chookas to the team, they are doing a fabulously awesome job thus far!

Schedule is December, they explicitly said they don’t want to blurt our mini updates all the time and do a real update 3. You should ask in January 2020 if nothing is out
