Hello,

I'm running statifactory on i7-9700k and RTX 2080. I'm running 2560*1440 on ultra, with Vsync ON.

I do not have FPS problems but my GPU go to 100% usage, at 84°C... It's way too much !

I think it was not so much before...

How can i do to correct this issue ?

What is the actual refresh rate of your monitor?

My screen is running at 100Hz

That's your problem. To run Satisfactory at 1440p, even with Vsync on your monitor is trying to push 100 FPS at all times and that takes almost everything a RTX 2080 can muster to try and drive that in this game. There is nothing you can do to solve this short of buying a faster video card. Or change your refresh rate in windows to something lower than 100 hz for this game. Or you could use something to limit your FPS below 100 and it will bring down your video card usage.

This is the only game I have that ask so much. Even some rtx games like metro Exodus or battlefield 5 does not make the GPU 100%. So perhaps it the limit of my card, but as I do not have any lag, I don't think so.
Anyway if the only workaround is to lower resolution or whatever, ok for me. But I'm surprised that this game ask more than others.

An RTX 2080 in non-RTX titles is literally the exact same performance as a GTX 1080 Ti, and I own a 1080 Ti. And I can confirm that currently, right now, Satisfactory is significantly harder on the video card than any other game I normally play, causing higher than normal GPU usage overall. So yes it totally is something with Satisfactory. Possibly they can improve this with time with further optimizations, but as of right now, satisfactory on maximum graphics is abnormally demanding on our systems. So yes, for satisfactory, this is normal in your situation and there is nothing wrong. Trying to push 1440p @ 100 FPS at all times will max out your video card in satisfactory and this is completely normal, right now.

"You want to use 100% of your GPU while gaming. If you aren't at 100% at some point while playing the game then you are either playing a much older game, using too low of graphics settings, or your CPU isn't strong enough (you're totally fine)."

So its just that the devs, have finally made the game use of the GPU. As for the temps, that should be the safe temps, for your card, even running it for days at end (assuming the case can get the hot air out).

May I suggest using MSI Afterburner (to tweak GPU core, memory and fan speeds) in combination with RivaTuner (to limit FPS to specific value) or just setting ingame shadows to low.
