I don't know if i am wrong but do you have enough ram? check it next time you are playing, if you are around 95%, this is it (i think, i'm absolutely not sure)

This is probably totally it. Right now the host for a multiplayer session uses more CPU power and more ram and in general more resources than playing the game single player. Watch your system ram usage and see if you're running out of system ram. You probably want at least 16GB of ram in your system to host a multiplayer game. If you only have 8GB then it probably won't work for you.
