I have two trains on the same track.

The first has to stop at a station, the second does not have to.

Now when the first train is docking and the second catches up, the latter one does NOT slow down and wait for the first one to finish loading/unloading, it just simply runs over the first one like a ghost train, and continues its journey.

Generally: trains on the same track should wait for each other if any of them is in the way, instead of overrunning. There are many bugs caused by, or as a consequence of this issue (like for example the freight cars getting separated)

This is a big issue.  I can understand allowing trains to ghost through each other to avoid having to worry about switch logic, but if that's the solution we want to go with, we need to address the resulting issues, such as merging trains causing connections to separate.  With this bug in place, the only way to use trains is to have a dedicated rail for each train, which would be a mess.
