First of all, I LOVE this game! I've spent a lot of time on this game since release and I still enjoy it a lot.

The problem now is that my save (read factories) are getting so huge that the lag caused by the conveyor belts is simply destroying the fun for me. And as you all know, we never want to make our factories smaller/ineffective so that's simply not a solution. Therefore it would be great if we had an option maybe inside ESC --> Options or maybe some sort of item(goggles?) or even an alternative closed/hidden buildable conveyor belt that would either decrease the visible items being transferred or hide them completely. The animation is super cool and neat, but right now it causes too much trouble for me and to be honest, you could wake me up in the middle of the night with a printscreen on 1 small part of my factory and I could tell you exactly what material and how much per minute is moving on that belt. I dont need to visible see it anymore :D

I found a post that is similar, but it was heavily downvoted and the comments were completely unrelated (I think maybe it was edited?) - https://questions.satisfactorygame.com/14670/closed-conveyor-belts-for-better-performance?show=14670#q14670

August 28th update: We've removed downvotes! One major reason is because we don't want to discourage folks from posting legitimate suggestions / reports / questions with fear of being mass downvoted (which has been happening a LOT). So we now allow you to upvote what you like, or ignore what you don't. Points have also been adjusted to account for this change.
Please use the search function before posting a new question and upvote existing ones to bring more attention to them, It will help us a lot. <3
