I'm always cutting a restoring cables to manage the power, so I thought it would be awesome if you could add:

1- Either a power pole with a switch as a separate blueprint or to enable a switch in each pole that already exists (I like more the first one).

2- A more advanced building that alowed you to manage all the machines turned on and off individually, as well as all the power switches in (1)

Having a transformer building type or the option to create a complicated power transformer would be fantastic.  Currently connecting additional bio generators (and eventually coal plants) to the grid seems excessive with the amount of power poles.  +1 for the idea and topic

Sorry, didn't mean to repeat it. I'll try to find it and give it a vote. I just was bothered with building and destroying cables to emulate switches. So I went to this site, search for half an hour between "hot" and "questions" and though there were awesome ideas, none were about switches, so I posted this.

August 28th update: We've removed downvotes!
