This has been brought up a few different ways, specifically, Enhanced Power Grid (first link) brings up the same thing with much more detail and some great ideas alongside it, but I wanted to bring attention specifically to the breaker box suggestion. I'd like for a box that can attach to a power network. Once attached, you can assign objects attached to the network to a switch by interacting with the switch, then the object.

I've set up factory towers, and some of my end game towers use more parts than I produce at full production, would be super handy to be able to run up to a breaker box and switch off half of my production instead of running through multiple levels of a factory to switch off each machine individually.

"breaker box" also ties into my suggestion for "manual switches" in https://questions.satisfactorygame.com/13477/logic-operators?show=13477#q13477

You might want to add this to that suggestion as it is a good thread.
