Since when the overall power "trips", and we have to go to a pole/generator to turn it back on, could it be implemented that we could manually "trip" the power to off? My "potato" PC really likes it when everything stops (FPS triples), and if I have to do some tweaking it would hurt my brain less to run at 30fps rather than sub 10.

Thanks

You can put machines on standby. Also you can make area's of machines hook up with 1 power line to a main power line and remove that to get the power off.

Having the breaker switch permanently on poles would make interesting use of powering and unpowering circuits if we every needed to really micro manage power. That way you can set up certain facilities and throw the breaker and come back later and turn it off when you don't need that production anymore.
