At some point, within the last 3 updates on experimental, my GPU started running very hot.  Initially I had no problems running the game. Now my fan boosts to full speed as soon as I launch the game and gets extremely hot within 20 minutes, even on low settings.  I was able to run Ultra setting prior with no issues.  I have a GeForce GTX 1080Ti in a Nitro 5 laptop. Can some optimizations be done to reduce the strain on the GPU? Thank you

Maybe time to clean the fans and heatsinks. These cards run very hot in any laptop simply due to the poor cooler. My desktop 1080 doesn't exceed 76 degrees and it's so silent I can barely hear it under full load.

I would agree with you but this is the only game in my library that is having this issue.

Also there is no GTX 1080 Ti for laptops. Only GTX 1080, and 1080 Max-Q.
