Not a complaint, just curious. Here in the US (just like Sweden), the “driver” side of the vehicle is on the left. Why does the engineer exit the explorer on the right?

The tractor has the pilot steering on the right, the truck has the cockpit on the right. The only one I can see your view point would be on the explorer, but they probably just used the same coding for vehicle exit on it as well.
