The map look great with all its fancy topography but it is disappointing how it is made to be easy to drive around. Instead of providing ways through forests, ramps, stone bridges, cave passages, provide players with opportunities to build their own and cut their own ways through trees and rocks.

Additionally please consider basic structural strength of buildings by counting number of parts from grounding foundation - graph based node distance counting while placing and deleting parts. With different part strengths of different material tiers (node values), pillars and beams for efficient shift/transfer of anchoring point. Deleting parts should include all parts left without connection to ground anchor point, with warning and undo option.

Please consider requirements and occasions to export products outside of factory. Higher tier machines placed at a distance could require materials to operate, for example oil drill could require iron plates (for barrels) or steel pipes, geothermal generator some kind of chemicals.

There could be special points on map providing some benefits like access to technology/blueprints while supplied with materials, excavation points maybe, cave passages could be sealed unless building materials for excavation are supplied.

Please consider possibility to place “holes” in the ground, similar how foundations work - concave box placed below ground surface. Its tricky with collision surfaces, edges, joining adjacent boxes, but probably doable.

I doubt they will implement terrain deformation considering how hand crafted the world is.  It does tend to make more problems, the Subnautica devs ended up having to take it out.

I'm actually finding the map fairly complex in terms of it being hard to get certain places.  Although that is perhaps mainly because they haven't implemented  an actual in game map which would make it considerably easier to plan routes.  While using the jetpack is one thing I think driving around is still pretty difficult and does require quite a bit of ramp building. Especially if you are using the Truck!!

I like the idea of an option to have base strength based on weight and support however I'm sure that would be quite a bit of work for the devs.  In my opinion it would make some things really tedious if you had to deconstruct a lot of things just to change one feature.  I would like them to add columns/pillars so bases don't have to look quite so magical.

I can't wait to see all they eventually do with this game, so far I really like it so I have high expectations.

Think about how animals move though. They will create paths for themselves...

So many people are building too tall and wide already for this to make sense.

Please consider requirements and occasions to export products outside of factory. Higher tier machines placed at a distance could require materials to operate, for example oil drill could require iron plates (for barrels) or steel pipes, geothermal generator some kind of chemicals.

Has been suggested before, but I'm not sure it would add that much value

There could be special points on map providing some benefits like access to technology/blueprints while supplied with materials, excavation points maybe, cave passages could be sealed unless building materials for excavation are supplied.

This already exists in the form of crashed pods with harddrives you can retrieve and rescue recipes from.

Please consider possibility to place “holes” in the ground, similar how foundations work - concave box placed below ground surface. Its tricky with collision surfaces, edges, joining adjacent boxes, but probably doable

While doable, it's tricky to get working correctly, thus the simple solution is to find your "hole" and build over it.

"The annoyance of never having a direct path is obstacle enough for me."

Great, so You have a map for You?, for me it is just boring.

"just not quite the right game for it."
Lets stick to good old Tetris (and OpenTTD for me)

"The map is not designed for this."
That what I wrote about.

"At present, Satisfactory is a very basic, very early alpha early release version."
And that what suggestions are for.

"Oh and, complexity on its own does NOT enrich gameplay. You're outright wrong on that notion."
I know the video well. How You imagine adding more variety and depth to game without adding some more complexity or new rules? Is adding structural strength to Satisfactory or distant resources sinks, "much greater mental burden for player", for You?

"Keep on digging and you might just find some true gold."
Nop, Im going to be lazy as You from now. Im going to stick to my Tetris.

"Nothing wrong, and its not about realism, its about different kind of challenge in the same game. There could be an option to turn on/off structural strength if You want."

What about total belt lengths - would you want it to require connections to power, where distance means you need more power? And if you want that, you should also need "long distance cables" with each power  pole only be able to handle a certain amount of of power

No, i don't know what those insinuations of Yours are for. I wrote exactly what i would like to see in the game.

It was a continuation on your idea with extra complexity...

What for? Whats the point? My propositions are clear stated , aren't they? Why You need to exaggerate?
